Our library is located at the former schoolhouse in Mequon that now serves as the Lindenwood Community Center. The unique collection of books and reference materials focuses mainly on Pomerania, with a few items that touch on other nearby provinces (Brandenburg, Posen, East Prussia and West Prussia).
Library hours are flexible by giving the librarian prior notice. The library will be open July 20, 2021 from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. during the TRACES Bus-eum exhibit at Lindenwood.
The library is open for one hour for browsing or researching prior to regularly-scheduled meetings at Lindenwood on the second Saturday of the month. Open library times are 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. for researchers; 1:00 p.m. for the meeting on the second Saturday of the month. Please note that there are no Verein meetings in April or August, and no research time is scheduled for October (Erntedankfest) or December (Weihnachtsfest) due to the special events on those days.
Genealogy helping sessions are held on an individual basis by appointment. Contact Linda Herrick at firstname.lastname@example.org
